Trabolgan Holiday Village are now recruiting for Activity Instructors for our 2022 season.

Start Date: Training starts February 2022

If you have plenty of energy, enthusiasm, and motivation along with the ability to relate to young people and adults alike, we are looking for you!

About the Role:

You will be instructing our guests throughout our range of adventure activities ensuring the highest level of customer service and safety standards, giving our guests a fun rewarding experience to remember for a lifetime.

Contract: Part-time leading to Full time (Seasonal)

Hours of work: Hours vary from week to week includes weekends, bank holidays and evening work so a flexible approach is required.

Requirements:

Ideal Candidate must:

  • Be friendly
  • Be confident
  • Have a great customer service skills
  • Have a reasonable fitness level to deal with the demands of the role
  • Be fun and outgoing with a “can do” attitude.

Experience/qualifications are desirable but not essential for this role as all training will be provided.

Trabolgan Holiday Village are now recruiting for a High Ropes Course Supervisor Position for our 2022 season.

Start Date: Training starts February 2022

Ideal Candidate should have the following:

  • Working/Supervisory experience in a fast paced, multi-faceted Leisure Attraction or Venue.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills gained through daily interaction on a face-to-face basis.
  • Be a great communicator.
  • Experience working with children and families.
  • Able to work well in a team environment.
  • A current First Aid qualification is desirable.
  • Be health and safety conscious and have experience in conducting risk assessments and daily safety and equipment checks.
  • Experience working with ropes and working at height is an advantage however full training is provided.

Wages: Negotiable, Depending on Experience

Trabolgan Holiday Village are now recruiting a Maintenance Person for our 2022 season.

About the Role:

You will be part of our maintenance team dealing with general maintenance, including painting. The role will provide on-site support and assistance with regards maintenance issues to all departments and holiday homes.

Requirements:

The ideal person should have previous experience, be a good problem solver and enjoy the challenge of working out faults and best ways to repair them. As part of your role you are required to have a full clean driver’s licence. An excellent attitude and the ability to get on with people is essential along with strong communication and reporting skills.

A valid safe pass card, a manual handling certificate are desirable.

Trabolgan Holiday Village are now recruiting for a Grounds Person for our 2022 season.

Duties

  • To care for, manage and develop identified garden areas
  • To develop and maintain garden areas and beds, sometimes working alone and sometimes working with colleagues
  • To ensure the health and safety issues related to identified garden areas are addressed to enable guests and staff to use the areas safely
  • To have a knowledge and understanding of the way in which to care for, manage and develop identified garden areas, including soil cultivation, digging, forking, mulching, watering, raking, weeding, edging, maintaining lawns/grassy areas, seed sowing, bed preparation, planting, cutting and spraying(course required).
  • Maintaining lawns, grassy areas, flower beds, hedges, the pond/stream to a high standard ensuring they are safe and fit for purpose
  • To undertake tasks of a similar nature, as directed by your supervisor/ manager Operations Manager
  • To comply with the requirements of Health and Safety
  • To participate in training courses in the use of new equipment as required
  • Regularly check fencing and boundaries, reporting any issues to your line supervisor/ manager who will inform Site Operations
  • Drive and operate the various vehicles
  • Using the tractors and other equipment to maintain the grounds and parking areas
  • Ensuring that all grounds equipment is maintained to a safe and serviceable condition and that the workshop is kept clean, tidy and organised.
  • Use the various hand and power tools
  • Maintaining woodland area in a safe and healthy condition using tree management techniques as directed by Site Operations
  • Assist with loading of various materials onto tractors and/or trailers
  • The post holder may be required to perform duties other than those given in the job description for the post assigned by your line supervisor/manager. The particular duties and responsibilities may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the role or the level of responsibility entailed.

The candidate must have:

  • The ability to work from ladders and at heights
  • Valid Driver’s licence
  • Ability to operate assigned equipment and vehicles
  • The candidate must have the ability:
  • To work as part of a team and to use own initiative when appropriate
  • To take direction
  • To be flexible
